Buzz Points, allocation, snapshots, and claiming rewards after TGE
Updated May 31, 2026, 02:08 PM
What Buzz Points are
Buzz Points are ledger entries used to rank participants on the leaderboard and to calculate allocation at snapshot. They are not transferable, not a token, and do not represent a guaranteed payout on their own.
How allocation is calculated
Buzz v2 uses a bucket-based reward model. Allocation uses proportional math within each bucket:
Your Bucket Reward = Your Points in Bucket x Value-per-point
where the value-per-point equals the bucket pool divided by the total points in that bucket. Your reward therefore depends on both your own points and the total points other participants earned in the same bucket.
Snapshot
After the Buzz period ends, the campaign enters the Snapshot and Allocation phase. At snapshot, leaderboards freeze across all buckets and integrity checks run. Only registered participants count at snapshot. Points earned after the snapshot do not grant additional allocation.
Claiming
Claims open after the Token Generation Event (TGE) and follow the campaign's vesting schedule. Exact unlock dates are specified per campaign.
