Can't connect your wallet or switch to BNB Chain (BSC) for staking? Fix it here

Updated Jun 1, 2026, 06:12 AM

Most ChainGPT staking and IDO actions for $CGPT happen on BNB Chain (BSC). The most common connection problems are (a) your wallet opens on Ethereum by default and won't switch to BSC, (b) the network dropdown does nothing when you tap BSC, or (c) your wallet extension won't connect to the site at all. The steps below are the fixes our support team uses most often.

First: confirm you're on the right link

Make sure you're using an official ChainGPT staking link:

  1. ChainGPT Pad: https://pad.chaingpt.org/staking-pools
  2. AI Hub (same pools): https://app.chaingpt.org/staking

Bookmark the correct page so you don't land on a stale or fake URL.

If you can't switch from Ethereum to BNB Chain (BSC)

If the platform opens on Ethereum by default and the BSC option in the dropdown does nothing (the menu just closes), switch the network in your wallet first, then connect:

  1. Close the staking tab.
  2. Open your wallet (for example MetaMask or Trust Wallet) and switch the active network to BNB Smart Chain (BSC) there.
  3. Go back to the staking dashboard and connect again.

Your CGPT staking and unstaking are on BSC, so your wallet must be on BSC before you connect.

If your wallet won't connect at all (browser issues)

If your wallet has stopped connecting in your usual browser:

  1. Try a different browser — for example Brave — and install the MetaMask extension there.
  2. Connect from that browser to see if the issue is browser-specific.
  3. Clearing cookies and cache can help, but on its own it often does not fix this — the clean-browser test above is the faster way to narrow it down.

If a different wallet opens instead of the one you want

If you click connect and a different wallet opens instead of the one you intended (for example a Solana wallet opening when you meant to connect MetaMask), this is usually caused by more than one wallet extension being active in your browser. Try connecting from a browser or profile where only the wallet you want is installed and enabled. If that doesn't resolve it, contact support (below) with your browser, the wallets you have installed, and a screenshot so the team can guide you.

A note on security

ChainGPT support will never ask you for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, or private key. Never share these with anyone — no legitimate support agent or staff member will ever need them to help you connect.

Still stuck?

If none of the above works, contact support at help.chaingpt.org and include: a screenshot of the error, the browser and wallet you're using, and your wallet address. That lets the team reproduce the issue and assist you directly.
