CGPT tokens missing after a transfer (sent to Binance, a contract address, or wrong wallet)
Updated Jun 1, 2026, 08:37 AM
If you sent CGPT and the tokens never arrived, the right next step depends on where you sent them. ChainGPT cannot reverse, reroute, or refund a confirmed blockchain transaction, so please read the case that matches your situation before contacting support.
First, a safety note: ChainGPT support will never ask you for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, or private key. Never share those with anyone, including anyone claiming to be support.
You sent CGPT to your Binance account
CGPT is not listed on Binance for deposits or spot trading — it is only available for perpetual trading there. Tokens sent to a Binance deposit address therefore cannot be credited to your Binance balance, and ChainGPT cannot access or recover them on its end.
- Do not send any further CGPT to that Binance address.
- Contact Binance Support directly and ask whether they can help recover funds sent for an unsupported deposit.
- Keep your transaction hash (TxID) and the sending/receiving addresses ready for them.
You sent tokens to the token contract address
Tokens sent directly to a token contract address generally cannot be retrieved. The CGPT token contract is renounced, which means no one — including ChainGPT — has control over it, so funds sent there cannot be moved back out.
- Open the transaction in a block explorer and confirm the destination was the token contract address rather than a personal wallet.
- If it was the contract address, the tokens are unfortunately not recoverable.
- Going forward, always double-check the receiving address before confirming any transfer.
You sent CGPT to the wrong wallet, or it has not arrived yet
- Open the transaction in a block explorer using your transaction hash and confirm it shows Success on the network you actually used — for example BscScan for BNB Chain (BEP-20), Etherscan for Ethereum, or Solscan for Solana.
- Verify the destination address on-chain matches the wallet you intended. If it was sent to a wallet you do not control, ChainGPT cannot reverse the transfer — you would need to ask whoever controls that wallet to return it.
- If the destination is correct and the token simply is not showing, add CGPT to your wallet as a custom/imported token using the official contract address, then re-check the balance. (Importing a token to view it is safe and is not the same as sending tokens to the contract address — only sending is unrecoverable.)
Withdrawing staked CGPT to your wallet
If your CGPT is staked on pad.chaingpt.org and you are trying to withdraw it to MetaMask, you can only unstake or withdraw after your lock period has ended. If the lock term has not been reached yet, the withdraw option will not be available until it does.
Still stuck?
If your case is not covered above — for example a pending IDO refund or a withdrawal that has been stuck for an unusually long time — contact ChainGPT support with your transaction hash, the sending and receiving addresses, and your ticket number if you have one. A human will review it. Please note that confirmed on-chain transactions cannot be reversed.
