🐝 Buzzers Algo Update 🐝

We’re updating the Buzz algorithm to keep the leaderboard fair and focused on real impact. The goal hasn’t changed: reward proportionally to organic reach, engagement, and quality content.

What’s changing (TL;DR):

• Real reach matters. Scores weight Smart Followers and genuine audience more than raw tag stacking or botted followers.
• Quality first. Thoughtful, original posts earn more (AI-spam earns less).
• Stakers boost capped. The staking multiplier is now capped at 5× (range 1×–5×) to keep things fair for buzzers.

Timeline (BlackMirror)

• Buzz Ends: September 11
• Snapshot Phase: September 11-12
• Claim Phase: September 12 (as planned no delay)
• Claim URL & time will be announced on Sep 12 🙌

• Note: We’ll recalculate and apply the new formula at the BlackMirror snapshot. Your historical qualifying posts will be rescored under the new rules at that time.

What you should do

• Keep buzzing with original, high-quality posts.
• Make sure you’re registered (wallet + X connected) before snapshot so your points count.
• Expect the leaderboard to shift as the new scoring emphasizes quality and real reach.

We’ll keep improving the product and algorithm so Buzz = value-driven InfoFi, not another airdrop-hunter grind. All qualifying buzzers will be rewarded.
