ChainGPT Pad - pool types and lifecycle phases (reference for answering launchpad questions; as of 2026-06-23).
Two kinds of pools
ChainGPT Pad has TWO distinct pool categories:
- Staking pools - stake CGPT to earn Launchpad tier points (which set your IDO allocation) and rewards. CGPT on BNB Chain. See the staking pools list.
- Campaign pools - a project's token launch / distribution event. These have several types and run through lifecycle phases (below).
Campaign pool types
- Public Sale (Subscription) - overflow/subscription public token sale.
- Standard IDO (Tiered) - tiered IDO; allocation by staking tier.
- Diamond IDO - premium IDO tier.
- Private Sale - private/early allocation round.
- Buzzdrop and IBO - 'Buzz' campaigns: complete social tasks (buzz) + register to earn a token allocation/airdrop. (Buzzdrop has v1 and v2.)
- Launchdrop - launch-time airdrop/distribution campaign.
- Giveaway / CGPT Gifts - giveaway-style distributions.
- Node Sale - sale of node licences.
- Acceleration, and Labs Incubation variants (Seed / Private / IDO / Flash Sale / Giveaway 'Labs Incubation') - incubation-program campaigns.
Lifecycle phases - when a campaign is LIVE
A campaign is LIVE (joinable now) when its REGISTRATION window or its SALE window is currently open. Specifically:
- Buzz campaigns (Buzzdrop / IBO): Upcoming -> Buzz & Registration (LIVE) -> Buzz Ended (Audit) -> Claim Rewards -> Ended. A Buzz campaign IS LIVE during its 'Buzz & Registration' phase, i.e. while its registration window is open - even if its raw status still reads 'Upcoming'. Do NOT call a Buzz campaign in Buzz & Registration 'upcoming'.
- Sale / IDO campaigns: Upcoming -> Registration -> Guaranteed round (phase 1) -> FCFS (phase 2, first-come-first-served) -> Filled (sold out) -> Claim -> Ended.
So 'what's live now?' = campaigns whose registration or sale window is currently open, PLUS Buzz campaigns in their Buzz & Registration phase. 'Upcoming' = announced but not yet open. 'Ended' = sale finished (may still have a claim window). Live data is synced regularly from the Pad API; for the absolute latest always point users to https://pad.chaingpt.org.
