FAQ: ChainGPT Buzz — Campaigns & Rewards

What is Buzz?
Buzz is ChainGPT Pad's performance-based growth engine for Web3 launches. It rewards verifiable outcomes (qualified traffic, conversions, on-chain actions, in-app usage, staking share) across four buckets plus a Referrals overlay. Projects use it to drive real users and on-chain activity; users earn rewards by contributing measurable impact.
What is a Buzzdrop?
A Buzzdrop is a time-limited Buzz campaign where participants earn allocation opportunities based on verified outcomes. Each campaign defines which buckets/quests are enabled, the Buzz Link destinations, the verification tier, and the reward pool. Points translate into allocation at snapshot.
How do I join a Buzz campaign?
- Open the campaign page on https://pad.chaingpt.org.
- Connect a supported EVM wallet (this wallet receives rewards).
- Click Register (status becomes REGISTERED).
- Start earning: grab your Buzz Links, complete on-chain and in-app quests, stake $CGPT to enter the Stakers bucket, and invite friends via your referral link. Social accounts (X, Telegram, etc.) are optional.
Do I need to connect a social account like X?
No. Buzz is wallet-first — you only need a wallet and registration to be eligible and earn across all buckets. You can optionally connect socials for cosmetic display and Buzz Feed previews, but they're not required for earning.
What does REGISTERED vs INVITE mean?
REGISTERED: you connected your wallet and clicked Register — your points count at snapshot. INVITE: you took campaign actions but haven't registered — you may appear on the leaderboard but aren't eligible for allocation unless you register before the registration window ends.
What are the campaign phases?
- Registration & Buzz (typically 10–90 days): connect wallet, register, grab Buzz Links, complete quests, stake, invite. 2. Snapshot & Allocation (1–3 days): leaderboard freezes, integrity checks run, each bucket computes a value-per-point, allocations calculated. 3. Claim: after TGE, tokens become claimable per the campaign's vesting schedule.
Are Buzz Points the same as tokens?
No. Buzz Points are ledger entries used to rank participants and calculate allocation at snapshot. They're not transferable, not a token, and not a guaranteed payout. Tokens are distributed after snapshot per the campaign's claim and vesting rules.
What are the four reward buckets?
Buzz v2 splits each campaign's reward pool across four buckets (default weights): Buzz Links (40%) — qualified visits + verified conversions from your unique short links; $CGPT Stakers (25%) — proportional share among registered stakers by stake points; On-chain Quests (20%) — verified on-chain actions (mint, bridge, testnet swap, deposit/LP with hold-time, governance); In-app Quests (15%) — verified product-usage events. Plus a Referrals overlay (10–20%) paying you 10–20% of the points your referrals earn, in the same bucket. Weights and enabled buckets are configurable per campaign.
Can I earn from more than one bucket?
Yes. Staking, sharing Buzz Links, on-chain quests, and in-app quests are independent paths — you can earn across all of them in the same campaign and your allocations stack.
What are Buzz Links?
Each participant gets unique short links for every campaign destination. When someone clicks your link, the click is attributed to your wallet; qualified clicks and verified conversions earn you points in the Buzz Links bucket. Only share your own links — sharing someone else's earns points for them.
Do I need to stake to earn from Buzz?
No. Staking is optional — you can earn across Buzz Links, On-chain Quests, In-app Quests, and Referrals without staking. Staking unlocks the Stakers bucket and can enable a Staking Boost multiplier in other buckets. Stake at https://pad.chaingpt.org/staking-pools.
How does the Buzz referral program work?
You earn 10–20% of the exact points your referrals earn, credited into the same bucket they earned in. Referrals are one-level only; the rate is campaign-configurable. Your bonus starts after the invited user passes a minimum activation gate (e.g. registration + first qualified conversion or completed quest). There is also a separate ChainGPT Pad Referral Program that pays USDC commissions, staking-point boosts, and First-Time IDO bonuses — see https://docs.chaingpt.org/our-ecosystem/chaingpt-pad/referral-program.
