FAQ: ChainGPT Pad — IDO Allocation & Policy
Updated May 30, 2026, 07:45 AM
Can I participate in IDOs right after purchasing $CGPT?
Almost. After acquiring $CGPT you must do two more things before joining IDOs: (1) make sure you have enough tier points for inclusion, then stake your tokens in the official Staking Dashboard (https://pad.chaingpt.org/staking-pools); and (2) pass KYC at http://url.chaingpt.org/kyc.
Is there a refund policy?
The refund policy depends on the project — each IDO has its own policy, shown in the IDO page's "Project Info" section. Refund periods typically last up to 7 days on average, giving participants time to evaluate before finalizing their commitment.
Do I have to KYC in order to access the Launchpad?
Yes. KYC is required to participate at any tier level. The process is handled by our partner Blockpass and is quick — sign up via the official link: http://url.chaingpt.org/kyc.
How is Pool Weight calculated?
Pool weight is based on the distribution of tier points among participating members and their tier levels. Each pool has a base range tied to staking tier points:
- Bronze: 1x multiplier — 2,000 to 19,999 points
- Silver: 4x–9.99x — 20,000 to 49,999 points
- Gold: 10x–39.99x — 50,000 to 199,999 points
- Diamond: 40x+ — 200,000+ points
Bronze stays at 1x across its whole range. Silver/Gold/Diamond weights scale proportionally to where your points fall within the range (e.g. a Silver with 20,000 points = 4x; 35,000 = 7x; 49,999 = 9.99x). Diamond has no point ceiling, so its multiplier cap is logarithmically related to the IDO's upper bound.
What crypto tokens can be used to participate in IDOs?
Stablecoins: USDT, USDC, BUSD. Cryptocurrencies: BNB, ETH.
