How to claim your tokens after a ChainGPT Pad IDO (and fix common claim errors)
Updated Jun 1, 2026, 08:37 AM
Once an IDO you joined on ChainGPT Pad reaches its Token Generation Event (TGE), you can claim the tokens you purchased. This guide covers where to claim, what to do if you see an error, and where to get help.
ChainGPT support will never ask for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, or private key. Never share these with anyone — no member of any team needs them to help you claim.
How to claim your tokens
- Go to pad.chaingpt.org and connect your wallet.
- Open the dashboard or page for the specific IDO you joined.
- Once the project's TGE has started and any cooldown has passed, a claim option typically appears in that sale's vesting/schedule section. Select it.
- Approve the transaction in your wallet. When the claim succeeds, that unlock is usually marked as claimed in the schedule.
Some projects vest tokens in multiple unlocks over time, so you may need to return and claim again on later dates per that project's vesting schedule.
For airdrop and giveaway pools, tokens are claimed to the wallet that was originally linked to that campaign. If you need to claim to a different wallet, contact support before signing anything — don't assume another address will work.
If you get an error when claiming
If the claim transaction fails or your wallet shows an error, try these in order:
- Try a different wallet. Some members have hit claim errors with MetaMask and Ledger that did not occur with Rabby. Connecting with Rabby has helped in those cases.
- Clear cache / try another browser. Use a clean browser session (or a different desktop browser) with extensions minimized.
- Confirm the network and wallet type. Make sure you are on the correct network for that sale and using the right kind of wallet. Sales on TON, for example, require a TON wallet (such as Tonkeeper) saved as your claim address — an EVM address will not work, and vice versa. If you saved the wrong address type, contact support before retrying.
- Check whether the project claims on its own portal. Not every project distributes through the Pad. Some run their own official claim portal, and tokens for those sales must be claimed there. If you are unsure, ask support which portal applies to your specific sale before connecting your wallet anywhere.
A note on refunds
Claiming and a refund are different things, and refund availability varies by sale. For some launches, refunds were handled as a separate, time-limited process announced on ChainGPT's official channels that required filling out a form — they were not automatic. If you intended to request a refund rather than claim, or you're unsure which applies to your sale, contact support with your sale name and wallet address before taking either action so we can check your options and eligibility. Missed refund windows generally cannot be reopened.
Still stuck?
If claiming still fails, contact support and include: (1) the exact name of the IDO, (2) the wallet address you participated with, and (3) a screenshot of the error message. These three details let us identify the issue quickly. You can also review the official ChainGPT documentation at docs.chaingpt.org for sale-specific rules.
