Manage your Saleium profile, avatar, and security settings

Updated Jun 21, 2026, 09:47 AM

Edit your profile details on the Profile page, set a custom or auto-generated avatar, and find your security controls under Settings -> Security.

Who this is for: Both operators and participants, since everyone on Saleium has one wallet-based account with the same profile and security options.

This article is the home for everything on the Profile page: your editable details and your avatar. Your wallet is your identity and first login factor, and you set your details once during a short registration when you first log in. For the full registration and wallet-login flow, see Create your Saleium account and log in with your wallet.

Safety note: Saleium will never ask for your seed phrase, recovery phrase, or private key. Anyone who does is not Saleium.

How do I edit my profile fields?

  1. Open the Profile page from your account menu.
  2. Update your editable details, including first and last name and any optional fields you added at registration, such as project, website, Telegram, team size, and interests.
  3. Save your changes.

Your email is the address you verified during registration. Keep it current so you continue to receive account communications.

How do I change my avatar?

By default Saleium gives you an auto-generated pixel avatar. You can replace it with your own image.

  1. Go to the Profile page.
  2. Choose to upload your own image for the avatar.
  3. Upload a file that meets these rules:
    • Format: PNG, JPEG, or WebP
    • File size: up to 1 MB
    • Dimensions: up to 1024px

If your upload is rejected, check that the file matches all three rules above, then try again. If you remove or do not set a custom image, your auto-generated pixel avatar remains in place.

Where do I find security settings?

All account security lives under Settings -> Security, where you can turn on 2FA with an authenticator app (TOTP), add passkeys, and manage your factors and recovery codes. For the full step-by-step on setting these up, saving your 10 one-time recovery codes, and what a step-up re-verification means, see Set up 2FA, passkeys, and recovery codes.

For project operators

Your profile and security settings are the same account controls every user has. If your team manages a Saleium project, keep 2FA or a passkey enabled and store your recovery codes securely, since losing access to your wallet and your second factor at the same time can lock you out of account actions. Keep your email and Telegram fields accurate so the ChainGPT team can reach you. See Set up 2FA, passkeys, and recovery codes for the setup steps.

For participants

You only need to set up a profile and security once. Adding 2FA or a passkey protects your account, and your recovery codes are your safety net if you change phones or lose your security key. Saleium will never request your seed phrase, recovery phrase, or private key, so treat any such request as a scam.

Common issues

  • My avatar upload failed: confirm the file is PNG, JPEG, or WebP, is 1 MB or smaller, and is no larger than 1024px.
  • I lost my 2FA device or passkey, or I never saved my recovery codes: see Set up 2FA, passkeys, and recovery codes to recover access and manage your factors under Settings -> Security.
