My X (Twitter) account won't connect, the token expired, or I changed my handle — how do I fix it?

Most X connection problems clear on a reconnect.

  1. On the campaign page, disconnect and reconnect your X account — a 'token expired' error usually clears here.
  2. If you changed your X username, your old handle no longer matches; reconnect so the new handle links to your wallet.
  3. Report a handle change to support with your wallet address, old handle, and new handle so your points stay attached to your wallet and no one else can claim the old handle on the leaderboard.
  4. If your X account was suspended, contact support to ask about linking a new X account without losing your buzz points — this is handled case-by-case.
