TL;DR

Buzz is a performance-based growth engine for Web3 launches. It rewards verifiable outcomes across four buckets: Buzz Links (qualified clicks and conversions from your unique links, shared anywhere), $CGPT Stakers (proportional share for registered stakers), On-chain Quests (verified on-chain actions), and In-app Quests (verified product usage), plus a Referrals overlay that pays 10–20% of the exact points your referrals earn. Projects use Buzz to turn attention into measurable results: real users, real usage, smart holders, and on-chain activity. Participation is wallet-first: only a wallet and registration are required. Results vary by campaign and market conditions. {% endhint %}

Who is Buzz For?

Users (creators, community members, stakers): You don't need to be a big account to participate. Anyone can earn by sharing Buzz Links where their audience lives (any platform), completing in-app and on-chain quests, staking $CGPT, or inviting friends via Referrals. If you create content, your submissions can be showcased in the Buzz Feed, where outbound clicks route through your tracked link (so distribution compounds your Buzz Links points). Stack boosts (staking, ambassador, loyalty, campaign missions) and build a track record across campaigns.

Projects (teams/founders): Run a single campaign that coordinates creators, users, and stakers into measurable outcomes: signups, wallet connects, downloads, on-chain actions, product usage, and retention. Pick your buckets and tasks, choose your verification tier (no-dev, webhook, or SDK), plug in your destinations, and let Buzz attribute growth back to real humans.

Why Buzz exists

Most launches don't fail because teams "didn't post enough." They fail because attention doesn't convert into high-intent community members and real users.

  • Old playbook: one-off hype spikes, farmer-driven quests, weak attribution, and chatter that dies after rewards.
  • New reality: teams need measurable movement in users, usage, on-chain activity, and retention, fast.

Buzz is designed to reward verifiable impact, not posting volume on any single platform.

What makes Buzz different

1) Outcome-based scoring (impact > noise). Points come from qualified clicks, verified conversions, verified on-chain/in-app events, and stake share. Empty impressions don't earn. Low-effort spam is downgraded or excluded.

2) Multi-platform distribution (no single-platform lock-in). Each participant gets unique Buzz Links per campaign destination. Share them on X, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, CMC Community, YouTube, TikTok, Medium, forums, blogs, or anywhere else your audience lives. Rewards follow the traffic that converts.

3) Adoption quests (when enabled). Projects can add optional in-app tasks (signup, wallet connect, onboarding, key feature use, retention milestones) and on-chain tasks (mint, bridge, swap on testnet, deposit/LP with hold-time, governance). This turns creators and promoters into users. On-chain and in-app quests may involve third-party products, smart contracts, and on-chain actions that carry risk (contract risk, bridge risk, slippage, etc.). Any task that requires a payment is always optional, and campaigns always provide a no-cost path. Only complete quests you understand and are comfortable with.

4) Integrity-first by design. Bot and data-center traffic is blocked or scored to zero. VPN/proxy is de-weighted or excluded. IP and device caps, wallet quality scoring, hold-time verification for deposits and LP, and anomaly review queues protect reward pools. Referrals are one-level only, capped, and gated behind activation.

5) Transparent mechanics. A bucket-based, auditable points ledger powers leaderboards and snapshots. Campaign phases, bucket weights, snapshot timing, allocation formulas, and caps are defined per campaign and visible on the campaign page.

How a Buzz campaign works (3 phases)

  1. Registration & Buzz (typically 10–90 days): connect your wallet, click Register, then start earning across the buckets: grab your Buzz Links and share them, complete available in-app and on-chain quests, stake $CGPT if you haven't already, and invite friends via your referral link. Dashboards and leaderboards update regularly throughout the campaign.
  2. Snapshot & Allocation (typically 1–3 days): the leaderboard freezes, integrity checks run, and each bucket computes a value-per-point. Only REGISTERED users count. Allocations are calculated proportionally within each bucket.
  3. Claim: after TGE, tokens become claimable according to the campaign's vesting schedule.

Status matters: REGISTERED vs INVITE

  • REGISTERED: You connected your wallet and clicked Register. Your points across all buckets count at snapshot.
  • INVITE: You took campaign actions but didn't register. You may appear on the leaderboard, but you won't receive allocation unless you register before the snapshot.

{% hint style="info" %} Social accounts (X, Telegram, etc.) are optional in Buzz and are not required to earn or to be eligible. You can connect them from your profile for cosmetic purposes. {% endhint %}

Mindshare (informational)

Mindshare is the share of tracked crypto social conversations mentioning the project. It's calculated by scanning X and other platforms for hashtags, keywords, and mentions, then estimating your campaign's percentage of total chatter based on that monitored data. Because this is generated automatically, results may be incomplete or occasionally inaccurate.

Tracking mindshare before, during, and after a Buzz campaign shows how much visibility the campaign generated. Mindshare is an informational layer: it does not drive payouts directly. Allocations are calculated from the bucket-based points ledger.

Sentiment (informational)

Sentiment measures the tone of social conversations: positive (bullish), neutral, or negative (bearish). AI analyses posts mentioning the project to determine sentiment. High mindshare and positive sentiment are often associated with stronger community growth and engagement, but outcomes vary by campaign design, market conditions, and external factors. Like mindshare, sentiment is informational and does not drive payouts.

Quick start (Buzzers)

  1. Connect your wallet (this wallet receives rewards): https://pad.chaingpt.org/
  2. Click Register on the campaign page.
  3. Grab your Buzz Links for each campaign destination and share them anywhere your audience lives. Qualified clicks and verified conversions earn points in the Buzz Links bucket (40%).
  4. Complete available in-app quests (15%) and on-chain quests (20%). Follow the status and verification cues on each quest card.
  5. Stake $CGPT to enter the Stakers bucket (25%) and unlock the staking boost where available.
  6. Share your referral link to earn 10–20% of the exact points your referrals earn, bucket by bucket.
  7. Optional: link your X or other socials from your profile, and submit content URLs to the Buzz Feed for extra distribution (clicks route through your tracked link, so they can compound your Buzz Links points).
