Buzz Campaigns Explained
Overview
Buzz Campaigns are ChainGPT Pad's performance-based community launch engine. They help Web3 projects drive measurable outcomes (qualified traffic, conversions, on-chain actions, in-app usage) around a token launch or product milestone, and give users a way to earn rewards by contributing real, verifiable impact.
Buzz is different from a typical airdrop, quest platform, or one-off KOL push:
- It rewards outcomes, not posting volume on any single platform.
- Content and links can be distributed anywhere your community lives (X, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Medium, CMC Community, forums, blogs, and more).
- It uses a bucket-based points ledger (Buzz Links, Stakers, On-chain, In-app + Referrals overlay) with transparent, proportional allocation at snapshot.
- It's integrity-first: bot filtering, VPN/proxy de-weighting, wallet scoring, hold-time verification, and manual review protect reward pools.
- It's wallet-first: you only need a wallet to participate. Social accounts are optional.
To date, Buzz campaigns have distributed $2M+ in Buzzdrop rewards (to-date platform totals).

Who Buzz is for
For users (Creators, Buzzers & Stakers)
Buzz lets you earn rewards by helping projects grow with real impact:
- Share your unique Buzz Links anywhere your audience lives (any platform).
- Complete in-app quests (signup, wallet connect, onboarding, product usage, retention).
- Complete on-chain quests (mint, bridge, swap on testnet, deposit/LP with hold-time, governance).
- Stake $CGPT to earn a proportional share of the Stakers bucket.
- Invite friends and earn a share of the points they earn through Referrals.
For projects
Buzz helps projects:
- Drive signups, wallet connects, downloads, and other project-defined conversions.
- Activate creators and community members across many platforms at once.
- Incentivize real on-chain activity and in-product usage, not vanity metrics.
- Grow community channels (Telegram, Discord) and retention loops.
- Distribute rewards through a transparent, performance-based allocation model.
What a Buzz campaign is (and is not)
Buzz is
- A campaign where users earn Buzz Points across multiple buckets by contributing verifiable impact.
- A leaderboard competition where points across buckets translate into allocation at snapshot.
- Often paired with a token distribution (a "Buzzdrop") and/or a launch event timeline.
- Designed to reward outcomes (qualified clicks, conversions, verified quest completions, staking share, referrals), not posting volume.
Buzz is not
- A "post-to-earn" system. Rewards do not come from posting on any single social platform.
- A guaranteed payout for every task or click.
- An investment product or financial advice mechanism.
- A replacement for Public Sales or Standard IDOs (Buzz is a different launch model).
How Buzz Campaigns Work (A–Z)
Step 1: Join the campaign (Wallet + Register)
Most Buzz campaigns require two quick steps:
- Connect your wallet (this wallet receives rewards).
- Click Register to accept campaign rules and become eligible.
Social accounts (X, Telegram, etc.) are optional. You can connect them in your profile for cosmetic purposes, but they are not required to earn or to be eligible.
Why registration matters: Only REGISTERED participants are eligible when the campaign snapshot is taken. If you take actions registering, you may appear as INVITE and could be ineligible for allocation at snapshot time.
Step 2: Earn points across the buckets
Once registered, you earn points in up to four buckets, plus a Referrals overlay:
- Buzz Links (40%): Grab your unique Buzz Links for each campaign destination (landing page, app, community, etc.), share them anywhere, and earn points for qualified clicks and verified conversions (e.g., signup, wallet connect, download).
- $CGPT Stakers (25%): Stake $CGPT and register for the campaign to earn a proportional share of the Stakers bucket. No content required.
- On-chain Quests (20%): Complete verified on-chain actions (mint a free badge, bridge, swap on testnet, deposit/LP with hold-time, governance participation).
- In-app Quests (15%): Complete verified in-product tasks (signup, wallet connect, onboarding tutorial, key feature use, retention milestones).
- Referrals (overlay, 10–20%): Earn 10–20% of the exact points your referrals earn, credited in the same bucket(s) they earned in. Activation typically starts after the invited user passes a minimum gate (e.g., register + first qualified action).
{% hint style="info" %} Every campaign can enable a different combination of buckets and tasks, and weights can be adjusted per campaign. Always follow the rules shown on the campaign page. Any task that requires a payment is always optional. Campaigns must provide a no-cost path to participate. {% endhint %}
Step 3: Track your points and leaderboard
Buzz campaigns include a live dashboard and leaderboard showing your points per bucket, qualified clicks, conversions, quests completed, boosts, and rank. The ledger is auditable: each point entry is tied to a verifiable event.
If a click, conversion, or quest isn't showing:
- Check that you used the correct Buzz Link (qualified traffic only).
- For on-chain/in-app quests, allow time for verification (some tasks have hold-time before points settle).
- Use the campaign's manual submission option for content feeds when available.
Step 4: Snapshot & Allocation
When the campaign ends, Buzz enters a snapshot phase:
- The leaderboard freezes across all buckets.
- Integrity checks remove suspicious or invalid activity.
- Each bucket's total points are used to derive a value-per-point for that bucket.
- Your allocation is proportional to your points within each bucket.
Step 5: Claim rewards (often with vesting)
After allocations are finalized, rewards become claimable according to the campaign schedule. Many campaigns include a vesting plan, so rewards may unlock over time.
{% hint style="info" %} Buzz Points are not tokens. Your token reward depends on the final snapshot, per-bucket value-per-point, and campaign rules. {% endhint %}
How Rewards Work (Bucket Model)
Buzz uses a transparent, bucket-based allocation model. The reward pool is split into buckets, and each bucket pays out proportionally based on the points earned inside it.
| Bucket | Default share | What gets rewarded | Verified by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buzz Links | 40% | Qualified visits + project-defined conversions (e.g., signup, wallet connect, download) | Redirect + session quality + conversion postbacks |
| $CGPT Stakers | 25% | Stake share among registered stakers (points proportional to stake) | Staking contract balances + campaign registration |
| On-chain Quests | 20% | On-chain actions aligned to outcomes (mint, bridge, swap, deposit/LP with hold-time, governance) | Chain events via indexer or streams |
| In-app Quests | 15% | Product usage events (signup, onboarding, feature use, retention milestones) | Project webhooks or SDK |
| Referrals (overlay) | 10–20% of earned points | Referrer earns 10–20% of the exact points their referrals earn, in the same bucket | Referral edges + bucket points ledger |
{% hint style="info" %} Stakers formula (example): If registered stakers have 1,000,000 total staking points, and you hold 100,000, you own 10% of the Stakers bucket. If the reward pool is $100,000 and the Stakers share is 25%, your share is ($100,000 × 25%) × 10% = $2,500. {% endhint %}
Buzz Points vs Rewards (Simple Explanation)
Buzz Points (BP)
Buzz Points are an internal scoring unit used to:
- rank participants on the leaderboard (overall and per bucket)
- calculate your share of each bucket at snapshot.
They are not transferable, not a token, and not a guaranteed payout by themselves.
Rewards / Allocation
Rewards are distributed per bucket based on your points within that bucket, using a transparent value-per-point calculation. Campaigns may apply fairness caps and integrity filters to protect reward pools.
Content, Buzz Links & the Buzz Feed
Content in Buzz is a distribution amplifier, not a points-earning task on its own.
- Each participant gets unique Buzz Links for each campaign destination. Qualified traffic and conversions from those links earn points in the Buzz Links bucket.
- Users can submit content URLs (posts, articles, videos) to the Buzz Feed. Outbound clicks from the feed route through the creator's tracked link, so feed-driven traffic can compound your Buzz Links points.
- Campaigns typically provide required tags (project name, ticker, product tags) and may require at least one qualifying tag and/or at least one Buzz Link in submitted content.
Distribution channels are fully multi-platform: X, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, CMC Community, Threads, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Medium, blogs, newsletters, crypto forums, and more.
How scoring works (high-level)
Buzz is designed to reward verifiable outcomes, not noise.
Scoring across buckets reflects things like:
- Qualified clicks (human sessions passing session quality and integrity checks).
- Verified conversions (project-defined actions confirmed via postback).
- On-chain event verification (indexer or stream checks; hold-time where applicable).
- In-app event verification (server-side webhooks or SDK events).
- Stake share among registered stakers.
- Integrity filters (anti-sybil, bot mitigation, VPN/proxy de-weighting, wallet scoring, IP/device caps).
- Boosts you have unlocked (staking, campaign-specific multipliers, loyalty, ambassador, where applicable).
{% hint style="info" %} In plain terms: one real user who signs up via your Buzz Link can outperform hundreds of empty clicks. One completed, verified quest can outperform a wall of low-signal posts. {% endhint %}
Boosts & Missions (why stakers often climb faster)
Buzz supports multipliers ("boosts") that can increase the points you earn. Common examples:
- Staking Boost: Stake $CGPT to increase your points multiplier in eligible buckets (capped per campaign rules).
- Campaign Missions (Custom Action Boost): Complete specific product or on-chain actions to unlock a campaign multiplier, where enabled.
- Loyalty / Ambassador Boosts: Reward long-term ecosystem support and consistent participation, where applicable.
Important rule: Boosts typically apply to points earned after activation (not retroactive).
Eligibility, KYC, and restricted regions
Buzz campaign requirements vary by campaign type.
Typical patterns:
- Buzzdrops (reward distributions): often no KYC, but may be geo-restricted in certain regions.
- Campaigns tied to fundraising or regulated flows may require KYC.
Always check the campaign page for:
- KYC requirements,
- restricted regions and eligibility rules,
- whether the campaign is a reward drop or a sale-related campaign.
Rules & integrity (how Buzz stays fair)
Buzz protects reward pools through layered integrity controls:
- Bot and data-center traffic is blocked or scored to zero.
- VPN/proxy traffic is de-weighted or excluded per campaign strictness.
- IP and device caps limit how often a single device can generate rewarded events.
- Wallet quality scoring reduces rewards for fresh or suspicious wallets and rewards established wallets.
- On-chain deposits and LP actions use hold-time verification: points stay pending until the hold period passes.
- Anomaly review queues auto-flag top earners and suspicious clusters for manual review.
- Referrals use one-level only, with caps and activation gates, to reduce sybil clustering.
Content standards: Avoid financial advice, price targets, "pump" language, and misleading claims. Low-signal or spammy content can score poorly or be excluded.
ChainGPT reserves the right to remove points or disqualify participation for abuse, fraud, or violations of campaign rules.
Quick Start Checklist
If you want the best results in a Buzz campaign:
- Register early (Wallet + Register). Social accounts are optional.
- Grab your Buzz Links for every campaign destination and share them where your audience actually is.
- Complete the available in-app and on-chain quests (prioritize free and testnet tasks).
- Stake $CGPT to enter the Stakers bucket and unlock the staking boost.
- Share your referral link (bonus scales with the impact of the people you invite).
- Use the required tags and at least one Buzz Link in submitted content where the campaign asks for it.
- Stay consistent across the campaign window. One real conversion beats hundreds of empty clicks.
- Check your status: make sure you're REGISTERED, not INVITE.
