Why does it say I can't participate in the giveaway / airdrop event?

This is not a bug. Participation in IDOs, giveaways, and certain ChainGPT activities is blocked for users in restricted regions, per the recently revised restricted-countries list.

Using a VPN or proxy to bypass the restriction will also trigger errors — if you are NOT in a listed region, turn off your VPN and try again. Note that any IDOs you already participated in are unaffected; you can still claim your vested tokens.
