Staking pools on Saleium: fixed-APR rewards you can embed

Updated Jun 21, 2026, 09:47 AM

Saleium staking pools let you deploy a fixed-APR staking pool where rewards are escrowed and paid from a budget you fund, embed it on your site, and let users stake a token to earn a different reward token. Staking is available on every paid plan (Growth and up), not on Free.

Who this is for: Both. Project operators who want to launch a staking pool, and participants who want to stake into one.

What is a Saleium staking pool?

A Saleium staking pool is a fixed-APR pool. Participants stake one token (the stake token) and earn rewards in a different token (the reward token). The APR is fixed at the rate you set when you deploy. Rewards are escrowed, meaning they are paid out of a reward budget you fund after deployment rather than minted on demand. You can embed the pool on your own site or share a hosted page.

Staking is not available on the Free plan. It is included starting with Growth.

For project operators

Which plan do I need, and how many pools can I run?

Staking is on every paid plan, with these instance limits:

  1. Growth ($99/mo): 1 staking pool.
  2. Pro ($499/mo): 5 staking pools.
  3. Business ($999/mo): 12 staking pools.
  4. Enterprise (custom): custom or unlimited limits and bespoke fee terms.

These are plan limits set by your subscription, not on-chain caps. See the Plans & Billing page in the dashboard to compare, and upgrade in-app via Stripe checkout for Growth, Pro, or Business. If online checkout is not available, you will be told to contact [email protected]. For Enterprise, book a call at https://saleium.io/enterprise.

How do I create a staking pool?

In the Create wizard, fill these fields:

  1. Chain: the network the pool deploys to.
  2. Pool name.
  3. Project owner: the owner address.
  4. Stake token: the token address users will stake.
  5. Reward token: the token address rewards are paid in. This must be different from the stake token.
  6. APR (%): your fixed annual rate.
  7. Lock period in days: how long stakes are locked. Set 0 for flexible staking with no lock.

Then click "Create staking pool" and approve the deploy from your wallet. The platform fee is 5% of rewards, lowered by your plan, and it is stamped into your pool at deploy.

What is the platform fee?

The staking platform fee is 5% of rewards, taken from reward payouts as participants claim. Your plan lowers it: Growth pays 4.75%, Pro pays 4.5%, and Business pays 3.75%. The fee is stamped immutably into your pool at deploy, so the platform can never raise it later and your plan can only lower it. The Plans & Billing page shows the exact rate for your plan.

What do I do after the pool deploys?

  1. Fund the pool's reward budget. Rewards are escrowed and paid from this budget.
  2. Keep the budget funded. If it runs low, reward claims can fail.
  3. Embed the pool with Embed Studio, or share the hosted page at https://saleium.io/stake/{chainId}/{poolAddress} (replace {chainId} and {poolAddress} with your pool's values).

For participants

How do I stake and claim rewards?

  1. Open the pool's hosted page or the embedded widget and connect your wallet.
  2. Stake the stake token.
  3. Wait out any lock period set by the operator.
  4. Unstake, then claim your rewards.

If the pool has a lock period, you cannot unstake until it ends. A lock period of 0 means flexible staking with no lock.

Common issues

  1. Reward claim fails: the pool's reward budget may be low or empty. The operator needs to top it up, since rewards are escrowed and paid from that budget.
  2. Cannot unstake yet: the lock period set at deploy has not finished. Wait until it ends.
  3. Reward token same as stake token: the reward token must be different from the stake token, or the pool cannot be created.
  4. Cannot deploy staking on Free: staking starts on Growth. Upgrade on the Plans & Billing page.
